These terms apply to your use of the schools.ink website. By browsing the directory you accept them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may revise these terms as the site changes, and the version published here at the time of your visit is the one that applies.

Schools.ink is a free reference directory that republishes publicly released Australian school data as browsable profile, suburb and state pages. It is an information service. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any school, education department, government body or data authority named on this site.

Access is provided free of charge and without any account. We may change, add or remove pages and features, or suspend the site, at any time and without notice.

Figures on this site are reproduced from official public data releases and are only as current and as complete as those releases. Datasets are published periodically, so values reflect a past reporting period rather than the present day, and fields that were not reported at source are shown as 'Not available'.

Before acting on anything you read here — particularly an enrolment decision — verify the current position directly with the school or the relevant state or territory education department.

Content on Schools.ink is general information only. It is not education, legal, financial, relocation or other professional advice, and it does not take account of your individual circumstances. You are responsible for any decision you make on the basis of information found here.

The underlying Australian school datasets are published by their respective authorities under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence, and are attributed accordingly on this site. You may reuse that source data under the terms of that licence, including its attribution requirement, by attributing the original publisher rather than Schools.ink.

The Schools.ink name, logo, page design, written explanatory content and the structure of the directory are ours and are not covered by that licence. Please ask before reproducing them.

This site is funded by advertising, which is served by third-party vendors including Google. Advertisements are clearly separated from directory content, and the presence of an advertisement is not an endorsement by Schools.ink of the advertiser, its products or its services. Any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and that advertiser.

School profile pages link to external sites such as school websites, governing body pages and mapping services, to help you verify information at its source. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content, availability or practices, and their inclusion is not an endorsement. Their own terms and privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

The site is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every figure it displays is accurate or current. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Schools.ink is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or the data it presents.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any right or guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If you believe a page contains an error, or contains information that should not be published, contact us with the page URL and the detail of your concern. Corrections and removal requests are reviewed, and privacy or safety concerns are treated as a priority.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Australia, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site.
